Our new tesco.com grocery home shopping advert airs today at 6pm on ITV1 during The Chase and I wanted to give you the opportunity to see it first. It forms part of our wider, multi-channel campaign: from in-store POS, to email, to digital.
January is an important time of the year for customers who are establishing new year routines. This provides an opportunity for us to have an engaging conversation around what matters when shopping for food online, helping us to grow our business and attract new customers.
Through the advert we show the convenience of ordering from home, along with the passion and care our colleagues take when shopping on behalf of customers. Whether that’s checking inside an egg box to make sure none are broken, carefully selecting a ripe melon or picking a pizza with the longest use by date. It’s these little things which we know really matter to our customers.
We do this in a warm, enjoyable and fun style as we did at Christmas – this distinctive and different approach to our communication really helps it to stand out.
