Today marks the beginning of Chinese New Year, with many of our colleagues and customers celebrating the event worldwide. In the Chinese calendar, every year has one of twelve animals assigned to it, and this year is the year of the Sheep.
On the run up to this hugely celebrated event, our colleagues in Malaysia launched the “Ong
Mali” campaign – a special Chinese New Year campaign developed to highlight our key product lines, specials and rewards for Chinese New Year. Both customers and colleagues were treated to an action packed lion dance performance which starred our very own Tesco dragon – take a look at the video below to see him in action!
