Why do we have a young people’s panel?
We are proud to employ over 70,000 young people in the UK. Young people are vital for the future success of our business – they are our leaders of tomorrow and our customers of the future. We want to listen to the views and ideas of our young colleagues and understand how we can best support young people both in our business and in our communities.
What will it involve?
The Young People’s Panel offer their thoughts and insight on our plans to create opportunities for young people and advise on how to best engage with them. There is also the opportunity to offer their perspective on other areas of the business’ work.
The panel meets four times a year, meetings typically run over one to two days per quarter.
How will I benefit?
Being a member of the Young People’s Panel is a great opportunity for you to help shape our activities, as well as developing your own skills and experiences. You will have the opportunity to meet colleagues, build your network and learn about our work in all different parts of the business. You will have the opportunity to meet senior business leaders and share your thoughts with them. Being a member of the panel will also allow you to practice and develop skills such as collaboration, communication and innovation.
