We’re delighted to let you know that last night Natascha Jesuvant from our Bishop’s Stortford Superstore was named Store Manager of the Year, at Retail Week’s Rising Star Awards! And also from Bishop’s Stortford Superstore, Team Leader Lauren Ward, was highly commended for the City & Guilds Kineo Apprentice of the Year Award too!
Natascha first joined us when she was 15 and her contribution in that time has been invaluable. Natasha is a fantastic leader who always makes a difference for customers and empowers her colleagues to do a fantastic job. See a short video of Natascha below.
Lauren has been with Tesco for 5 years and is now a Team Leader on Produce. Always embracing a challenge, Lauren shows great energy and passion in everything she does for our customers and has some great ideas for improving the produce department to make it the “Best Greengrocer in Town”.
Well done to Michelle White, Lucy Broome, Josh Durr, James Ryan, Dean Small and Langport Metro who were also shortlisted for Rising Star awards.
It’s fantastic to see colleagues like Natascha and Lauren receiving recognition for all their hard work to put customers at the heart of everything they do. Why not join in on congratulating them on Yammer and share this story using the ‘Yam It!’ button above.
We offer lots of great opportunities for young people joining our business. Take a look at a blog from Rachel Bushby, Early Careers Programme Manager, as she talks about welcoming new starters to Tesco and guiding them as they begin on their career paths.
