Success at the Women in IT Awards

30 January 2015

Women in IT
Last night the “Women in IT Awards”- the most prominent women-in-technology initiative in the UK, took place at Grosvenor House in London to celebrate the outstanding innovation achieved by women in the IT industry.

It was an evening of fantastic achievements with four of our very own colleagues reaching the finals!

20150129_222221A huge congratulations to Priya Ragaven who scooped the award for “Private Sector Deployment of the Year” as well as;

Sue Lance- nominated for Transformation of the Year

Nina Telli – nominated for Future Chief Information Officer

Angela Maurer- nominated for Editors Choice

According to a recent study from employer body The Tech Partnership, which supported the event along with BCS and The Guardian, “just 16% of the IT industry is made up of women and the gender gap is worsening.” However, the twelve awards on the night highlighted the tremendous value that women can bring to IT roles.
